New York NY US Exhibit/Furniture Designer www.dflatt.com Married 1 David Flatt Judi Flatt BFA Northern Michigan University
MA Pratt Institute
Left Grosse Pointe the day after graduation, I returned for a year working at Chrysler in '71-'72.  After Northern Michigan University, I moved to Madison WI. and started designing and building furniture.

I've been living and working in NYC since 1980, own and operate a company that designs and builds trade show exhibits and furniture here in NYC.  this allows me to travel often, for business and pleasure.  I thoroughly love living in NYC,  I attend the Opera, see plays, and experience all that NYC offers.  I enjoy driving machines with 2 and 4 wheels, sailing, and diving.

NYC has been a great place to grow a family. Judi, my wife, and I have a son Miles Flatt, a graduate of Indiana University, who is currently producing videos for the start up banking company he is working for.  My 2 brothers, and their children, are a big part of my life, and I often travel to see them, and both of my parents.

Loudon TN US Retired Market Development Director Married 4 Sue Cardarella Dennis Cardarella 3 granddogs Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI
Wow!  40years?  I really don't remember many people from high school other than close friends.  I moved away from Grosse Pointe the day after graduation and didn't return to visit until our 20th reunion.

My second husband and I retired "young" and moved to a golf and boating community in eastern TN.  We're in paradise looking at the Smokies and our lake every day.  Between us we have 4 great kids.  My youngest, Sarah, is the "baby" and is attending Carson-Newman College on a soccer scholarship as a varsity goalkeeper - Go Lady Eagles!

If I don't make it to the reunion, best wishes to all of you for many more wonderful years ahead.

Old Lyme CT US Naval Architect www.pfna.com Married 2 pfuchs1 Candace U of M BSE Naval Architecture 1974
U of M MSE Naval Architecture 1975
After college spent a lot of time sailing and rowing. In sailing my top achievement was defending the America's Cup in 1977 on "Courageous" with Ted Turner. In rowing I was on the US National Team six times and placed in the medals 4 times and won the Pan Am Games, all in singles and doubles.
That somewhat delayed real life like marriage and kids until I married Candace in 1994. It was a 'finally' moment for a number of people...We bought a house in Darien, CT and had two sons Peter, now 12 and Sam, now 9. In 2004 we moved to Old Lyme, CT, a really great place to live, and have enjoyed that for the last six years.
Through all my 'play' I worked independently as a naval architect designing sail and power boats, which I have continued to do working from an office in my home.
Life is good, we are happy and love where we live. If I have any complaints, I just put it in the bin and move on.
Thanks for all the work on the reunion!

Grosse Pointe North was a unique experience for our group because it was a "new" high school.  I hope I can remember a few faces, the 20th reunion did more to make "new" friends than it did to rekindle memories for me.  This is but one of many milestones in our life.

It will be great seeing many of you again, particularly those I saw at our last reunion.

I've been in Paris (or Bruxelles) for 27 years.
Laure who I met in DC, convinced me that for a family and a balanced quality of life France was the place to be.

Still working for The Firm which I thought was a good way to get started in Europe.

For more, let's talk during one of the reunion events.
